Park Rules

It is a condition on entry to the park that you understand and follow these rules.
Anyone in breach of these rules will be asked to leave.

  • All guests and visitors are to report to the office upon arrival.
  • All fees are due upon arrival and are non-refundable.
  • Please respect office hours 9am – 6pm.
  • Check-in time: after 2pm and before 6pm. Late check-in is available only when pre-arranged with Management.
  • Check-out by 10am unless arranged prior with Management.
  • For after office hours emergency/noise complaints please call 0438 502 264
  • Be considerate of other guests by not walking through other people’s sites and remembering after 10pm to 7am is considered quiet time.
  • A site is considered to accommodate a caravan, annex, or tent, (but not more than one), plus I car or 1 boat. Maximum persons per site is 6. Only vehicles registered to a site are to be parked within the park.
  • Cabins have parking for I car. Some can accommodate I car and I boat, please discuss when booking. No Caravans, swags. tents or gazebos are to be located near cabins.
  • Ground sheets (large mats, shade cloth, etc) are not to be placed on the ground or around the dwelling or under awnings and gazebos, a door mat of 400mm by 600mm maximum is fine.
  • No charging of car or boat batteries – please discuss at time of booking.
  • The tow bar of the camper trailer or caravan must point toward the road.
  • No digging of holes anywhere throughout the park. e.g., levelling of vans and jockey wheels. please bring levelling blocks with you.
  • All cars. boats and trailers must be parked in cabin driveways or on the site. not on roadways or grassed areas in front or rear of the cabins.
  • Nothing can be tied to trees or other structures within the park. This includes clotheslines and hammocks.
  • BBQ’s – gas or electric only (no heat beads), please no BBQ’s or gas rings on cabin decks or tables.
  • Fires can only be lit in the designated area. The communal fire pit is closed between 1st December and 30th April. No fires at all on TOTAL FIRE BAN days.
  • Please adhere to the 5km speed limit (walking pace) for the safety of all guests and children.
  • Children are welcome to ride their bikes. It’s the parent’s responsibility to ensure their children wear helmets when riding bikes. Guests in other vehicles please be considerate. NO ramps or jumps, children must adhere to the 5km speed limit for theirs and others safety.
  • Parents are responsible for children’s behaviour. Under 10’s must be accompanied by an adult in the amenities block.
  • The family assist & disability amenities are not for general use EXCEPT when the general amenities are closed for cleaning.
  • All guests are to clean up their own mess and are responsible for the conduct of their visitors. Please do not Iitter.
  • No washing of boats, kayaks. etc. Fish are to be cleaned on the designated bench only.
  • No consumption of alcohol is permitted in public open areas of the park, or within 10 meters of children’s playground equipment.
  • Please leave cabins in the same clean state as they are found. Extra cleaning may incur a fee.
  • We ask that all guests respect the wildlife that lives in and near the park.
  • All guests are responsible for securing their valuables. While we do our best to maintain a safe park environment. Lake Tyers Camp and Caravan Park take no responsibility for any damage or loss incurred to your belongings during your stay.
  • These rules may change at any time.
